ZyMetrix is designed to process as much as possible in your browser.
Local processing
Most converters, formatters, and generators run on your device. When that is true, tools show: Processed locally in your browser.
Favorites, recent tools, and settings are stored in localStorage on this device only.
Accounts
If you create an account we store your email, password hash (via Better Auth), session metadata (including approximate IP and user agent), and billing fields synced from Polar. Email may be used for verification and password reset.
Server-side tools
Some Office → PDF conversions (DOCX, DOC, ODT, PPTX, XLSX) are processed on ZyMetrix servers with LibreOffice. Files are uploaded securely for conversion and deleted after processing.
Paste content is stored on the server so it can be shared, until it expires or is removed. Product lookup may query third-party catalogs (for example Open Food Facts / Edamam) with the barcode you submit.
Billing
Payments are processed by Polar. We store subscription identifiers and status needed to grant Pro access. We do not store full card numbers.
Retention
Pastes follow the expiration you choose. Sessions expire according to auth settings. You can delete your account from the account page.
